Chloe celebrated her 5 month birthday by deciding she no longer needs us to hold the bottle for her at all. Before she would push our hands out of the way but we would still hold the end of the bottle so it wouldn't fall out of her hands, but she took the weight of it all by herself. She still needs us to tip it up for her though because she doesn't understand that it needs to be tipped back for the milk to go in her mouth. In these pictures she was sucking half air half milk, so we subtly tip it for her. She thinks she's doing it all by herself though and we let her think that because she's an independent woman.
I have bad news. Sadly, the love hate relationship with Gracie has swung to hate. They had a spat over something and I just happened to be taking a picture of her as it happened. You can't tell from the picture, but she touched Gracie's nose so I went to take a picture because I thought they were getting along, but then Chloe wound her hand back down to her chest and SMACK she back-handed Gracie right across the face. She hit her hard enough to knock Gracie right over. I'm not sure what Gracie said to her but Chloe wasn't having it. I moved Gracie to the corner because as you know, Gracie knows what she did.

We have a fairly consistent daytime routine now. She eats, plays, naps, repeats. After a good lunch bottle she goes Zombie Chloe.

I told Chloe to say hi to her dad and she stuck her tongue out. We played dress up with her bowls, she thought her new tophats were funny.
