Two Month Immunizations
Chloe had her 2 month immunizations yesterday. I think I was more upset about it than she was. I was expecting a lot of screaming and thrashing. My husband didn't ask who would hold her, he took her as soon as we got into the room. Maybe he thought I would run out the door with her when the needle came out (the thought may have crossed my mind). I sat in the corner next to a potted plant wringing my hands while the nurse got things ready. Before injecting Chloe, the nurse told my husband and I that a side effect could be that she sleeps a lot for the next two days. I was broken out of my trance with Chloe's chubby little legs to exchange hopeful glances with my husband - that would be wonderful - crossed both of our minds. The injections were faster than I thought they would be, and although Chloe screamed, she didn't cry and was completely over it before we even got her redressed.
